Stage 1: Sarria → Portomarín

The pilgrim's baptism. 22km through rural Galicia, magical forests, and the famous 100km marker. It all starts here!

A day of steady but gentle ascent that will test you. You will cross the Sierra de Ligonde and enjoy spectacular views.
